Good food should be an emotional experience that moves you. So expect surprise and delight from exceptional fine dining at The Mount Somerset, thanks to well known local chef, Olly Jackson, who hosts our new restaurant. Food is cooked from the heart by Olly and his experienced team using local and seasonal produce, creating outstanding, balanced and flavoursome, modern British dishes.
Our five course tasting menu including Scallop and Crab Tortellini with celeriac purée, pickled cucumber and chive butter sauce as a starter and Creedy Carver duck breast with roasted beetroot, red cabbage and parsnip purée with potato rosti as a main, will spoil the most avid foodie.
While our a la carte menu has vegetarian and fish options as well as classic hearty dining such as aged beef sirloin and slow-cooked beef cheek and slow-roast Heale cottage suckling pig. For those wanting lighter dining our fixed price lunch menu offers three courses available Wednesday to Saturday from 12.15 to 2pm.
