The Mount Somerset Team

Job Opportunities at The Mount Somerset

Our philosophy at The Mount Somerset is to provide a sustainable and where possible, local experience. Our relationship with producers, from a lifetime in the West Country and in particular 10-years in Somerset, means that we have forged strong connections with farmers and growers enhancing our offer and supporting the local economy.

We want the team at The Mount Somerset to have a  warm, relaxed and gauged approach to hospitality. The kitchen will cook from the heart, without pretension, producing balanced and flavourful menus that leave guests well-fed and content. The service will  reflect the food and guests will be looked after with a level of  professional homeliness. We aim to  provide the highest level of service within a relaxed environment, making our guests feel truly at home.

Our intention at The Mount Somerset is to create an experience that leaves our guests certain to return.

With over 25  years of experience in the hospitality industry, we know that investing in our team helps to make happy customers and build a stronger business. We depend on the skill of our team - their  enthusiasm, creativity and experience. Joining our team is an opportunity to join an industry that creates moments for people - professional meetings, terrific dinners, joyous occasions and favourite memories.

In addition to creating the guest experience, we want to help you fulfil your potential. We will do this with support from your managers, with craft skills and training to enhance and develop your role and, when the time is right for you, we will encourage you to progress. Whether you’re searching for your first job or looking to hone your skill set we may well have the opportunity for you at The Mount Somerset.
